Well, according to Microsoft's Corporate Vice President, Marc Whitten on Twitter, the Kinect V2 has your back. Whitten referenced this image posted on Reddit recently (which you can see on the right); he said "To my reddit friends -- yup -- this works!"
So, no more entering codes manually - what's your thoughts on the situation?
Unfortunately for PC users, the Kinect won't come with an adapter - no QR code scanning for you.
