Miles Jacobson - Sports Interactive's Studio Manager - and the motive force behind the massively successful Football Manager series is now to be referred to as 'Miles Jacobson O.B.E.'.
Mr Jacobson (O.B.E.) has been honoured in the 2011 New Years Honours list as personally put together by well-known Wii owner, Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II. He gets his Order of the British Empire, "For services to the Computer Games Industry".
We imagine Queen Beth II probably has a crack at managing Queens Park Rangers to victory using SI's Football Manager on PC though.
