Japan: PSP Scrapes Past DSi

The Media Create figures for Japanese hardware sales over the week ending April 12th are in, showing that the PSP beat the DSi.

It was, it must be said a very narrow margin - 213 units. Thanks should go to Basara Battle Heroes, which topped the software chart with 86,000 sales.

It was a bit of a bumper week for Sony, with the PS3 also having beaten the Wii by more than 3,000 sales. It's a solid margin, though not as strong as the PS3's margin of nearly 3:2 over the Wii in March.
