Neverwinter Nights
A hideous evil has awoken in the Forgotten Realms. Now, in order to save the inhabitants of the town of Neverwinter you must uncover a sinister conspiracy, unmask your mysterious betrayer and complete an epic struggle to defeat the powerful forces that look to halt your quest and unleash an evil your people would surely never survive.

Shadows of Undrentide
In Shadows of Undrentide, players can begin their adventures in the small mountain town of Hilltop as a student under the tutelage of a mage named Drogan, before traversing the deadly Anauroch Desert in search of the ancient ruins of Netheril. Players must again uncover a fiendish plot whilst battling a multitude of new enemies through over 20 hours of original, new gameplay. Players can choose from any of the classes in the original, or try out one of five new Prestige Classes. Players can also customise their characters even more with a choice of 50 new spells and 30 new feats.
Shadows of Undrentide is clearly a worthwhile expansion pack that, given its depth, could be a stand-alone game in its own right.
Hordes of the Underdark
Returning to the Forgotten Realms once again, Underdark is an unusually large expansion pack, and much more extensive than previous add-on, Shadows of Undrentide. This new addition boasts an additional 20-30 hours of RPG gaming, but caters mostly for the advanced Neverwinter gamer, offering 'Epic' gameplay that allows for more powerful players and formidable foes such as devils, demons and dragons.
It makes the player’s adventure one of the longest the series has ever seen, and Bioware has quashed any concerns that a 40-level single player adventure would become monotonous by including six new races. Naturally these include dwarves, warriors and other fantasy fighters, and each of them give players more freedom to choose how they wish to progress through the game.
Customisable weapons and armour, 42 new and Epic spells and 50 new feats make Underdark even more extensive and will help players no end as they try to defeat their enemies in a new and compelling story.
