Summary

Konami is bringing an update to the classic Dance Dance Revolution out to conincide with the launch of Microsoft's full-body controller for the Xbox 360, Kinect. DanceEvolution makes full use of Kinect to get single or multi-players off the couch and boogieing.

The game comes with a tracklist of 30 songs at launch including, Into Your Heart (Ruffage Remix), A Geisha's Dream by Naoki featuring Smile.DK, La receta by Carlos Coco Garcia, Hysteria 2001 by nm, Exotic Ethnic by Reveng, Brilliant 2 U by Naoki, Night of Fire by Niko, Kimono Hearts Princess by Jun, Crazy Control by D-Crew with Val Tiatia, Unity by The Remembers.

Yes, it's all about dancing and sharing... even down to the ability to take snaps of your best moves and upload them to Xbox Live. The online component also enables gamers to challenge up to four other people for online battles – or, of course, collaborations.

With three gameplay modes: Dance, Lesson, and Status, DanceEvolution aims to take even the most uncoordinated Xbox 360 gamer from couch to dance floor dream.

Dance Mode sees players compete to become the ‘Dance Master’ playing and unlocking songs in cahoots with a friend in three difficulty levels: Light, Standard, Extreme and Stealth. Lesson Mode, as the name suggests is a tutorial mode. Status Mode enables gamers to check out how well they and their friends are doing.
