Summary

Buena Vista's Desperate Housewives: The Game is a simulation game for the PC based on the ABC/Touchstone Television hit series. The original script for the game is from Desperate Housewives writer Scott Sanford Tobis.

Players assume the role of the newest housewife on Wisteria Lane, a new reason for plenty of curtain-twitching. The game extends the experience of the successful television series through a selection of new storylines. As a new housewife, you must reveal some shocking secrets and uncover some outrageous scandals. In Desperate Housewives: The Game, the gameplay is a story-driven adventure, in which each episode contains unique plot points and various mysteries to be solved. To solve such mysteries, players can sneak through homes, flirt, entertain and spy their way to the truth.

Throughout the game, it is possible to interact and gossip with various characters from the TV show, including Gabrielle, Lynette, Susan, Bree and Edie. As in the show, Brenda Strong reprises her role of narrator (and dead housewife) Mary Alice Young. Players can also csutomise their character's appearance, shop for clothing and decorate their house, as well as running their household by looking after their family, home and garden.

There are several mini-games to enjoy, including gardening, cooking and playing Texas Hold'em poker with the other wives. Fans of the TV series will be overjoyed with the arrival of Desperate Housewives: The Game, and should get around to doing some of their own gossiping and bitching in an interactive style.
