Summary

Every once in a while a game comes along and it turns into a phenomenon. Pokemon has captured the imagination of millions. It has combined the best elements of several top games, added new innovations and on top of that it has a great story line. In Pokemon Blue you can catch, battle and train your very own pocket monsters. Pokemon Blue has a massive game world, in-game character interaction and Pokemon that evolve! How cool is that?

In Pokemon Blue you take on the role of Ash, a young trainer. While growing up you develop a grudge against your best friend, Gary, and turn into rivals. It turn’s out that Gary’s grand father is a wise professor who has devoted his life to researching Pokemon. When he tells you he is too old to find all the Pokemon, Ash decides he must become the greatest Pokemon trainer in the world, and to do so he must explore the land, win training badges, battle Team Rocket, Giovanni, and finally his best friend, Gary.

One of the best features of Pokemon Blue is that you can link-up to your friend’s Gameboy and see how good your Pokemon are in a battle. Also, it’s impossible to collect all 151 Pokemon using just the blue version. Different versions such as Pokemon Red and Pokemon Yellow contain slightly different character sets, some of which are not available on Pokemon Blue. So if you want to be a Pokemon master, you need the help of a friend, providing he doesn’t have the same version as you. Pokemon Blue is a great game and will keep you playing for months. Gotta catch ‘em all!
