Sony’s PSP launch plans laid bare
Sony Computer Entertainment Japan has unveiled its plans for the Portable PlayStation launch in the region, as well as underlining a beefed up release slate.

The snazzy gadget will see a high-profile campaign aimed at the hoards of Japanese commuters heading to and from work in the cities of Osaka, Tokyo, Nagoya and Kyoto. Featuring playable versions of a range of near-launch software being offered by beautiful young girls, SPOnG can’t help feel slightly smug, given we get to step over heroin addicts and ticket touts when venturing to work on public transport. In your face Tokyonians!

Im not really all excited about the release schedule for the PSP games, the only one that stood out to me is Metal Gear Acid by KONAMI. Besides that its pretty much dull.

Agreed.
Look at the PSP launch games, then look at the DS's.
Hell, the Metroid Demo looks more interesting then any of those!
Mahjong.. Whoop Diddle!

yep, i'm in agrement here too... acid looks good but all the hype surrounding the big games has seemingly been forgoten as they cant make their launch dates. GT4 - psp would be nice and the ultimate launch title that'd make me buy one would be pro evol psp.

lets face it though, its not got a europe date till march has it? by then i'd hope to see a stronger line up or it'll be a DS in my pocket till theres an improvement. It really annoys me when a slow trickle of games are released initially, in a way i'd rather wait for the system to be at full strength then get it!

God damn it! the word is 'hordes'!

'hordes', as in large numbers of people.

a 'hoard' is a hidden collection of treasure, you buffoons.
