Microsoft has announced that Kevin Browne, the former head of the firm’s Macintosh Business Unit, will moving into an as yet unspecified role within the internal Xbox team.
“This new job offers Kevin the opportunity to learn new skills, work with a group of customers who are extremely passionate about great software, and pursue his personal interests in games and sports,” went Microsoft’s statement.
It is thought that Browne will fill the gaps left at the forefront of the Xbox business structure by the high-profile departures of Seamus Blackley and Kevin Bachus, who left the firm to set up Capital Entertainment Group, a development funding outfit.
