Valve has - completely and utterly definitely by accident - leaked a list of staff apparently working on Half-Life 3.Through an apparent error on Valve's part the company's User Picker software briefly became available to the public, and Reddit user ekim1 is
claiming to have found a list
showing 10 staff members of a group called 'Half-Life 3 Core' and 46 staff assigned to a team simply called 'Half-Life 3'.
This coincides with the appearance of a
European trademark application for 'Half-Life 3' in Europe, as spotted by
Gematsu. That could, of course, just be Valve covering its back.
This follows another 'leak' back in June which apparently showed
Valve talking about Half-Life 3 and Left 4 Dead 3. It also follows
Half-Life 2 actor John Patrick Lowrie saying it's not happening, so make of it all what you will.
Well, Valve's game devs are presumably working on
something.
