Today is launch day for the much-anticipated Kickstarter console, Ouya. As of today gamers in the UK and North America can buy the dinky little machine.
Many Kickstarter backers have not, however, received theirs. Everyone else in the UK can get one from retailers such as Amazon (although there appears to a week+ wait on delivery) or GAME for £99.
Ouya runs its own version of the Android operating system and comes with over 170 games (including Chronoblade and Final Fantasy 3) available, as well as streaming apps and services such as Twitch.tv, Crunchyroll, iheartradio, TuneIn, XBMC, Plex and Flixster.
You can get a free trial of any game on the system, with Ouya keen to point out that you won't get charged for something unless you deliberately choose to make a purchase.
