Microsoft has released the first pictures of the new smaller controller that it is about to release into the American market. The pad has a similar case to the controller already on sale in Japan, but with different button and joystick layout.
This move came following complaints from American consumers that children, women and small people found it difficult to use the huge pads that accompany the US Xbox.
A European release of the pad is also likely.
