Microsoft releases new controller in the States
People without giant hands rejoice!
Following widespread outcry from American Xbox players without giant hands, Microsoft has announced that it will be releasing a new, smaller pad for the US market.
The somewhat surprising move follows the original American pad coming in for some fairly heavy criticism from gamers and the press alike, for being far too large for women, children and other, smaller people.
The new pad will come in an outer case that is almost identical to the superior Japanese pad available now in the East. The only marked difference will be the button configuration, which will not be altered. The move to release a new controller comes after Microsoft saw a huge bubble of Americans importing the controller.
It is likely that Microsoft will release the smaller pad into European market at point of launch, though this could not be confirmed at this time.
