Ouya, the Android-based console that exists on crowd-funded money, is now available to pre-order. For more of your money.The device can be purchased in advance on the
official Ouya website for the promised price of $99 - plus $10 shipping (so $109.99, or £70.34). For the money, you get one controller, but there are options to have two ($139.99, or £89.52) or four controllers ($199.99, or £127.89) instead.
Ouya's crowd-funding initiative on Kickstarter generated over $8.5 million to date, and caught the eye of developers with its open-source free-to-play philosophy. Square Enix will be bringing Final Fantasy III to the console at launch, and Robotoki will be exclusively launching a prequel to Human Element.
The system will begin shipping in April 2013.
