Microsoft would like you to think that there's no such thing as a 'new Xbox'. But of course, we all know that the company is working on one - and we might be seeing it before 2014, as well.A
job vacancy at the company, for a Central Marketing Group director, states that Microsoft "will release new versions of all out most significant products" over the "next eighteen months" - that includes "Windows (Client, Server, Phone and Azure), Office and Xbox, along with completely new offerings like Microsoft Surface."
Rumours have been flying around that the next Xbox will hit store shelves towards the end of 2013 - Microsoft's own suggestions in its career advert would seem to add weight to this. It also matches a
statement by Windows Live Business Group general manager Brian Hall who noted that the company was working on applications for "the new Xbox."
Of course, those comments were
taken completely out of context. Of course.
