Double Fine Adventure Backers Get DRM-Free Game
Crowd-funded game to hit multiple platforms.
So Double Fine's Adventure Kickstarter investment initiative has racked up over $1.8 million in the space of a week. That makes Tim Schafer very happy - so happy in fact, that he's revealed a few details about the project in a video update.
Among the announcements were specific platforms - PC, Mac, Linux, iOS and Android versions have been confirmed - as well as DRM-free copies of the game for those who have helped fund it. A closed Beta will also be made available for backers via Steam.
Schafer also revealed that Double Fine Adventure has enough investment to afford English voice acting, as well as text localisations for French, Italian, German and Spanish players. View the Kickstarter project page here, and watch the video below.
