Bill Gates donned a shop-assistant’s uniform last night to help shift the very first Xbox consoles to the gaming public. Thousands flocked to New York’s Times Square in the wee, small hours of Thursday morning over night, to be one of the first to own the new Microsoft machine.
The first gamer in line was Eduardo Glucksman, who was sold his console by the irrepressible Microsoft chairman Bill Gates. "It's the best system. It's great. I can't wait for it. I've been waiting a long time," Glucksman said, after he had been hanging around for 16 hours. When asked how much he was going to be playing his new console, the 20 year old said, "All night. All day. And non-stop until maybe Monday. Tuesday if I'm lucky."
