Valve has confirmed that Counter-Strike will appear on the PC, the Mac and... it will also be available via PlayStation Network and Xbox Live Arcade in 2012.
The new title in the venerable - and sometimes controversial - series is Counter Strike: Global Offensive.
According to MCV, "It includes brand new maps, game modes, characters and weapons but is very much being sold as an updated version of the existing game."
