Will Hideo Kojima make a modern update of Snatcher any time soon? The Metal Gear Solid creator has just thought over the possibilities on Twitter, following a huge interest in Kojima Productions and Grasshopper Manufacture's Sdatcher radio drama.
Kojima Productions saw around 450,000 people access its internet podcast when certain episodes included chunks of the drama series, which made Kojima ask, "Even though the radio broadcast is free, if we converted it to a game, could it sell 200,000 or so domestically?"
Sadly, some extra thought went into it, and it turned out that commercially such a title would not be viable. A new Snatcher game, with 3D graphics and an L.A. Noire style open world would require 500,000 units to sell in order for it to be made without any problems.
A shame, we'd love to see it. Would you?

why not just give the a Original a HD make over? why does it have to be a remake in 3D?
