UK Xbox Release Date Confirmed

Microsoft’s Xbox is to be released on March 14, 2002 throughout 16 European countries, including the United Kingdom. Bill’s first foray into the console market will retail at £299.99, and confirmation of the date surely means that developers of games such as Munch’s Oddysee and Project Gotham Racing (Metropolis Street Racer’s new guise) are going to work a little harder and faster to make the launch date.

Surely an announcement from Nintendo regarding a date for the GameCube can’t be far behind. Can it?
