New Red Faction game coming via downloadable means
THQ Digital are working on a new downloadable title in the Red Facion series of games titled Red Faction: Battlegrounds for XBLA and PSN this Autumn.
Talking at the Game Developers Conference on Monday, THQ's Digital creative director Don Whiteford discussed the prospects of moving into digital-only distribution as well as providing details on the upcoming title.
Red Faction: Battlegrounds will come in the form of a car, mech and rover combat game with a topdown view and will allow up to four players to join in the action at once. Earning certain achievements in the title will allow players to unlock in-game rewards for the upcoming Red Faction: Armageddon.
