Over at Comic Con, Cliff Bleszinski has explained the reasons for the long, long, long gestation period for the Gears of War movie. It's a heady mix of money, romance and... a movie rating system.Cinemablend reports, that the reason that original director Len Wiseman left the movie, were that the script was "estimated to cost around $100 million to make, and he says that’s a problem because it would have had to be rated-R, and it contained no love story."
No love story? In the
Gears of War trilogy? Seriously?
So, this means that Cliff and the team have to revisit script, budget and romance.
