Cliff Bleszinski has reacted to a story stating that "Japan can't keep up with the US technically". Why? Well, the CVG story quoted the Gears of War main man as saying as such. The quote in question from the
CVG piece is, "'Part of the problem is, technically, Japan just can't keep up with the US,' Cliffy said when asked whether Epic had plans to move into Japan, Korea and China."
According to the man formerly known as
Cliffy-B however, "Internet tabloid alert: I said *nothing* about Japan not being able to keep up with the US regarding tech."
Bleszinski didn't stop there, however. "Here's another technique",
he continued, "you can say *anything* as long as you put a ? after it. ;)", he mused. It's also got to be said that he has a very good point indeed.
His analysis of Internet games journalism
continued with, "Websites intentionally publish misquotes and out of context pullquotes to create forum flamewars which generates traffic and profit."
