Free downloadable content (DLC) for Valve's survival horror outing, Left 4 Dead should be up and ready for you to grab for your Xbox 360. It's called the Survival Pack and it's sparked a fanboy war based on the fact that Xbox 360 users get the DLC before PC users.
It's also apparent that the gaming community is becoming slightly dubious of DLC announcements, with one Valve forum poster kicking off a thread called "The DLC is Late Rage Thread" well before the appointed hour. The first post contained the following, "Please rage here and do not spam the forums with hundreds of threads about the DLC being late and not fitting with your ever important schedule."
The war, however, stems not from the 360 users but from the PC side with posts to the official Valve forums such as, "Seriously? Xbox first? FU Valve, I'm done with your products. nubs". This sentiment is equalled on the console side by, "Seriously, there's nothing wrong with this. I didn't complain when PC users got patches month before I did, but you spoiled brats have to ♥♥♥♥♥ and moan that we get it a few hours earlier."
Frankly, the "you got it before us" vs "yeah, deal with it" exchanges about FREE DLC for two platforms makes for fun reading for a social anthropologists.

As a PS3 user. I find the whole slanging/bitching/whinging match totally annoying. At least they've got the bloody game.

see straight off - "PC-user noobs" comes out - unbelievable. Yeah slightly annoyed about the fact it was released first on 360 - the only reason for this is that i have it on both pc and 360 and have to say it is better on pc and the sdk is gonna be awsome for developing new content. but seriously why does everything have to come down to slaggin off pc and console users? i have 3 pc's a ps3 and 360 i don't get the bitchin - All of you play ur games and stop ur whinnin.

And everyone is still surprised that Nintendo choose not to take these whiny bitches as their core audience? I mean, really, can you blame them...over FREE DLC indeed...
On a related note, Why does Rise of the Argonauts not have a patch for PC yet!!! It crashes every half a hour or something, Goddamn Codemasters!!!
