Battle Rage: The Robot Wars has gone all 3D - so much so that you'll need glasses to play the Wii game from UK-based Digital Data Design.
A snippet of the game, formerly a PC outing from Destan Entertainment and Teyon Games, can be seen in the video below. No, it's not just poor Wii graphics, you will need stereo-vision glasses (why not go along to a screening of
My Bloody Valentine 3D? at the flicks).
Stewart Green CEO of Data Design said, "Players are now part of the game world, rather than sat outside watching the screen. Implimenting (sic) this code has been a natural progression for our internal development system ‘GODS’, which has already proven to be the fastest and most reliable development system on Wii. We are now enhansing (sic) the technical ability of our GODS engine and stereoscopic 3D is just one of many new innovative enhansments (sic) we will be making to improve the players enjoyment."
