Rare scrap Dinosaur Planet 64 in favour of a GameCube version

There are strong rumours that UK based RareWare has abandoned Dinosaur Planet on the Nintendo 64 to make way for a GameCube version of the title.
The 3D-action title was due to ship across all territories later this year on N64 and was supposed to see out the aged platform with a bang. It seems that this is no longer seen as commercially viable by Nintendo and Rare.
