Black Wii Pre-Orders Now - Maybe

It has come to SPOnG's attention that, despite Nintendo delaying the now legendary Black Wii, Grattan (the Bradford-based online retailer) is taking pre-orders on the new version of the Wii.

Strange, we thought. Maybe Grattan, more usually known for lady's unmentionables, kettles and watering cans, has pulled off some astonishing Wii deal. However, when SPOnG contacted Grattan we were told that it did not think it would be getting any in stock until, "Later in 2007" and were unable to get any more of a specific date.

Ever since E3 we have seen shots of various colours of Nintendo's Wii consoles and their Wii remotes, yet none have materialised. However, knowing Nintendo it would be surprising if they were not to release a rainbow's-worth of versions in the Wii's life span.
