NCsoft(tm) Europe has today announced its presence at two major video games industry events taking place this year - Game Developers Conference Europe and Edinburgh Interactive Entertainment Festival.
Starr Long, producer on Tabula Rasa(tm), will take part in the GDCE conference programme, which runs from 30th August - 1st September. Long will host his own session - Strike Teams: Cross Discipline Saviors. The programme will focus on furthering the lines of communication during the making of medium to large-scale games and how best to implement this in reality.
Jeremy Gaffney, vice president - product development, currently oversees all product development teams in North America creating games under the NCsoft brand. Gaffney will offer EIEF the benefit of his expertise of the video games industry in the ROFLMAO - Games Get Sociable session (2.30pm on 11th August). This panel session will focus on Massively Multiplayer Games as a business model phenomenon and will discuss everything ever needed to know about MMG's including how the Internet has changed the way people play together.
"GDCE and EIEF are very important events in the video games industry calendar and we are excited that NCsoft will have a prominent presence at both conferences," says Dirk Metzger, marketing director, NCsoft Europe. "Starr and Jeremy have a wealth of experience, and I'm sure attendees will gain some excellent insights into the MMOG industry."
