File Transfer Window Revealed
It’s a good job that there are no UK football fixtures scheduled for October 24th, as that is the day fans around the world will be sat glued to their PC screens, digesting the first official Championship Manager 4 news, which will available for download on www.sigames.com and on the The Official Championship Manager Magazine coverdisc.

Eager supporters of the best-selling series will be treated to a stack of new information and screen shots – as well as first ever footage of the game’s innovative realtime match engine and a comprehensive data update.

Championship Manager 02/03 patch v3.6.67 will instantly update all current player transfer data and introduce the Korean League – taking the total to 27 worldwide. Other treats in store on October 24th include rolling demo – which premiers the much-lauded Championship Manager 4 match engine – and the first official CM4 screenshots.

The Official Championship Manager Magazine will also include a compilation of Sports Interactive titles, including a freeware version of Eastside Hockey Manager, Championship Manager 01/02 and Championship Manager Quiz ‘softwrap’ versions, plus playable demos of previous Champ Man titles so fans can chart the game’s progression. To complete this impressive collection, the disc will also include an updated Championship Manager editor.

Miles Jacobson, managing director of Sports Interactive, says: “Championship Manager’s extraordinarily loyal fan base has been very patient and supportive throughout the development period of Championship Manager 4. The release of this update and demo is our way of saying thanks for all of that support. We think that it should keep them busy until CM4 hits the streets.”
