MORRISVILLE, NC –July 14, 1999-- Red Storm Entertainment Inc., creator of the top 10 PC title Tom Clancy’s Rainbow Six, has intensified its external development efforts by naming Kevin Perry, former producer and game designer for the company, as U.S. external development manager.

In his new role, Perry will work with Adrian Curry, the company’s European product manager, to lead Red Storm Entertainment’s search for external PC and console developers to publish quality new entertainment titles under the Red Storm brand. The company has already made tremendous inroads into this arena following a very successful presence at this year’s Electronic Entertainment Expo (E3). Red Storm Entertainment has contracted with several outside developers to create console versions of Tom Clancy’s Rainbow Six.

“Kevin’s experience as a producer and game designer makes him the ideal person for this job,” said Doug Littlejohns, president and CEO. “With the acquisition of quality externally developed titles, we aim to increase our product throughput, and establish ourselves as a major presence in the games and entertainment publishing industries.”

A seven year veteran in the entertainment industry, Perry joined Red Storm Entertainment in 1997.
Prior to joining the game company, he served as production manager at Harmonix Music Systems, a Cambridge, Massachusetts-based developer specializing in revolutionary music interaction software. He has also served as director of Internet Activities for Fog Studios, a content developer group that worked with many well-known gaming industry leaders, including the Happy Puppy gaming web site and id Software, a leading developer. Perry also served as Lead Webmaster for Sendai Interactive, the Internet home of many popular electronic entertainment publications, including Electronic Gaming Monthly and Computer Game Review. He received a BA in Linguistics/Cognitive Science from Northwestern University.
