Sold Out has added another string to its superbudget bow, with the advent of its new £7.99 triple packs due for release in November.
The new compilations feature three PC games on individual CDs and are designed to offer a cross-section of game genres in one, affordable package. Initially, Sold Out will release four £7.99 bundles, with further releases to follow. As with all Sold Out titles, each compilation is fully tested for compatibility with all modern PC configurations and utilise the firm's .Now installation and online support software.
The first compilation features Eidos' ever popular Championship Manager 2, arcade racer Manic Karts and Space Clash - a fast-paced action title. 3DO's combat-orientated Army Men, the space opera Dark Colony and the high-octane Outlaw Racers make up the second bundle, with Team 17's Worms, PC Pets 2 and retro update Montezumas Return the third. Finally, the November batch is rounded off with a trio featuring Take 2's classic Grand Theft Auto, Chasm: The Rift and the graphically impressive Armour Command.
"Once again Sold Out has demonstrated its knack for offering recently-released games at unbelievable prices - several pounds cheaper than our nearest competitor. Three excellent and well known games for £7.99 make these compilations the ideal stocking filler, and the perfect way to fill the holes in your PC games collection," said Managing Director Garry Williams. "Coupled with our ongoing deal that offers three of Sold Out's stand-alone £4.99 titles for a tenner, we have once again proved that we have the gamers' interests at heart."
