Philip Oliver co-founded Blitz Games (renamed from Interactive Studios in 1999) with his twin brother Andrew in 1990 following nearly ten years of designing and writing video games. He has been Managing Director since that time but was appointed Chief Executive Officer in January 2001 and is responsible for the company's overall management, direction and image, including new business development and financial issues. He also ensures, along with his brother Andrew, that the company maintains its ongoing reputation for producing high quality entertainment for the mass market. He is also a founder member of TIGA (The Independent Games Developers Association) and currently sits on the board of directors.
Philip Oliver's first video game work that SPOnG is aware of is the 1984 title, "Black Box and Gambit" (BBC/Electron) as Programmer.
Philip's most recent involvement was as Programmer on the 1996 release "Creature Shock" (PlayStation).
