Microsoft has released a video that attempts to discuss the design elements of the Xbox One in a similar way to how Apple evangelises its mobile and tablet products. Except, with more colours and a rocking soundtrack.
Multiple members of the design team are brought forward to talk about the 'design language' of the Xbox One, and how the console was designed specifically with the system's operating system in mind. Panels to navigate on the OS, panels on the hardware itself. That's on purpose.
Perhaps the most interesting is the tour of the new Xbox One controller. And the fact that Microsoft had to create a special colour called Liquid Black - "the blackest black that we could achieve in an injection-moulded resin." Sounds neat. Take a look at the trailer below.
