New Zealand-based indie studio Sidhe is bringing its rather brilliant Arkanoid clone, Shatter, to the iPad. It'll be released early next year courtesy of digital publisher PikPok.Managing director Mario Wynands made the announcement on NeoGAF, adding that the game will be "iPad only" due to the fact that it would need too much of a redesign to work on the iPhone.
Shatter was originally released back in 2009 and is available on PlayStation Network, PC and Mac. It's a twist on the classic brick-breaking game, using physics effects, special attacks and power-ups to add a fresh gaming experience.
Thanks,
Joystiq.
