So, admit it, you thought that Xbox Live users would vote Conservative didn't you? Well, you were so wrong. The first passed the post system on the Live vote has Nick Clegg's LibDems winning the popular vote.
"The Liberal Democrats have steamed ahead of both the Conservatives and Labour, according to an online poll held on Xbox 360 LIVE between 29 April and 12 noon yesterday in which over 400,000 members were asked to indicate their voting preferences", says the official blurb.
"Nick Clegg has pipped fellow candidates to the post by netting over 30% of the Xbox 360 LIVE vote. The remaining parties were left trailing in Mr Clegg’s wake, with the Conservatives scraping 20.7% of the vote and Gordon Brown’s Labour party limping in a distant third with a less than encouraging 17.6%. Also most tellingly, the remaining 31.3% of Xbox 360 LIVE members are still undecided about the main three parties."
31.3% voted 'Other' in other words.
