Grown-Up Gabby In Once Upon a Time is another Literacy title in the Little Monsters series, in which young Gabrielle decides that she’s too mature to be reading children’s books. She wants to read the type of books that adults read and it’s your mission to help her find the ideal reading matter.

After introducing yourself to Gabby via the keyboard (you have to type in your name and compose a picture of yourself), you can visit the bookshop and help Gabby choose a suitable book. But Gabby has ideas above her station, and finds reading a little more difficult than she thought. She needs your help to find the missing words in the book and read the stories. In amongst the many features there’s a friendly talking dictionary to help you along with comprehension and vocabulary, and general assistance in teaching your children our wonderful language.

Aimed at ages 4-5, and with all activities supporting the national curriculum, Grown-Up Gabby In Once Upon a Time, along with the other titles in the Little Monsters range, is a very useful additional learning tool for the kids.
