Silly Sydney is effectively an interactive childrens television programme promoting literacy in children aged between three and four. There are various slightly psychedelic tasks to complete each involving the construction of basic words during Silly Sydneys crazy shopping expedition. First up on the shopping list is a can of alphabet soup which, as you can imagine, involves the construction of some simple words. Once the task involving a certain item on the list is completed, Sydney can buy it and be off on his way.
The aim of the series is to incorporate basic literacy and numeracy skills with the basic functions involved in operating a PC mouse usage and pointing and clicking.
