Summary

Earache Extreme Metal Racing was conceived and created by a 15 year-old Gothic metaller called Sky Nash. The game is a joint partnership between Earache Records and Metro 3D, in conjunction with developer Data Design Interactive.

The game features ten terrifying Earache racing teams, all of which are artists on the Nottingham, UK-based record label: Mortiis, Deicide, Morbid Angel, Akercocke, Decapitated, Biomechanical, Municipal Waste, The Berzerker, Linea 77 and Society 1. Players must choose their team and race through hell, places that look like hell, and various other wastelands.

Fans of the record label will be more than delighted to read that there is a wealth of extreme Earache classics making up the soundtrack of the game, including At The Gates, Napalm Death, The Haunted, Cathedral, Hate Eternal, Beecher, Urkraft, Cult Of Luna, Anata, Mistress and Severe Torture.
