Summary
The King of Fighters 2003 marks the beginning of an epic new saga in the KOF franchise. The tapestry of human relationships that entangle our new hero and an evil entity is revealed by degrees: The King of Fighters 2003 is more than just a fighting game - it's fighting with a purpose.
This time around, there are 34 characters, making up 10 of the most dangerous 2D fighting teams ever assembled. There's also a brand new 'multi-shift' system that allows for substitutions of team-mates during bouts. Gamers are able to select a team leader with the new Tactical Leader System and learn devastating combo moves for their favourite fighters to unleash the biggest, deadliest attacks.
