Summary

Yeti Sports, a breed of free flash mini-games that spawned on the wonderful Internet, have now become something of a phenomenon to web-surfers the world over. The games largely involve a cute and cuddly yeti swinging and throwing hordes of willing penguins great distances in order to break records. And simple as they are, they excel in their ability to keep players hooked, which is why the games have now been brought to PC in an extremely worthwhile and affordable compilation.

Orca Slap, Pengu Throw and Seal Bounce are just a few of the most renowned games included in the package, but of course when you can play these games for free online, Yeti Sports punters will need a small incentive before they dig into their pockets to fork out for a copy of the shop-shelf variety. That incentive comes in the form of four new and exclusive mini-games that will not be made available on the Net.

To an extent, these new games are merely derivatives of existing Yeti games, but they are their own games nonetheless, and comprise of Super Pingu Throw, Ice Bear Attack, Super Orca Slap and Pengu Darts. And as with the rest of the games, you'll be charged with throwing and swinging your way through the game to beat your own high scores. Variables such as obstacles and slot machines make play a little less predictable, and there are also increased difficulty settings to tinker with.

Yet Sports Deluxe isn't exactly Metal Gear Solid or Gran Turismo 4, but that doesn't detract from the fact that it's an extremely addictive game and great fun to play.
