Summary

AquaNox 2: Revelation will feature 30 hugely diverse main missions. In a refreshing change, Massive Development has focused on realism within the Reward structure, unlike many other games where shops stocking weapons and materials appear at regular intervals. Instead, having successfully achieved an objective, players will have to survive using what they can find from the nearby area, thereby adding a revolutionary tactical element to the gameplay.

The missions within AquaNox 2: Revelation have such a huge variety that will test a vast array of players' skills. For example, a mission could begin by having to patrol a place against enemy assault, then players could be confronted with a dogfight against a single powerful enemy, then confronted with a massive all-out battle fighting numerous enemies, finally leading the player to hunt down the escaping enemies in the vast oceans.

Players will occasionally stumble across one of the 70 bonus missions and objectives that appear within the game. These can include infiltrating heavily guarded outposts to capture rare and powerful vessels, or entering a duel which allows players to battle one-on-one against awesome enemies.

Non-linear gameplay allows the player to either complete or ignore these bonus missions. However, these actions will impact upon the way the game develops for the player.
