Summary

Trouble in Paradise immerses players in the story of Disney's popular 2002 feature film release, Lilo and Stitch. Taking the form of the atypical 3D-platform adventure, the game gives players the opportunity to explore locations and situations taken directly from the film, and in some cases, beyond what is actually seen in the movie.

The game features a variety of gameplay mechanics, including running, dodging, jumping, hiding, races against the clock, forced-scroll chase sections, and end-level boss encounters. Players take control of their favourite duo, Lilo and Stitch, and take on the might of a wide variety of enemies, from Hawaiian wildlife to alien bounty hunters. The goal is to guide Lilo and Stitch in their quest around the island, defeating these foes among the varying landscapes, and testing your wits against moving platforms.

Choose to play as either Lilo or Stitch, depending on which path you take. Each of the characters has different abilities. Lilo is very protective of Stitch: she is adventurous, creative and superstitious and wants to help Stitch calm down to enable him to stay with her family. In her mission to calm Stitch, and protect him from his enemies, Lilo must use some special moves and cast voodoo spells.

Stitch tends to create havoc. He enjoys freedom and destroying all that is around him. Known as intergalactic 'Public Nuisance No 1', he is being hunted down by the alien space hunters, Jumba and Pleakley. As well as jumping he can roll himself into a ball and, once enough speed has been gained, can roll over ramps, allowing him to breach gaps. This manoeuvre can also enable him to smash up anything destructible.

A cute and fun little platformer, this game should appeal to all, and not just fans of the film.
