Summary

Today there is a popular type of game that is quickly becoming mainstream within the video games industry. A sequel. It is likely that there are more sequels in this giant industry than in any other. In particular, 3DO studios have a reputation that has contributed greatly to this statement. Their Army Men series has once again been updated with the release of Sarge’s Heroes 2 on PlayStation.

As a third-person game, Sarge’s Heroes 2 employs an over-the-shoulder point of view, and as a combat-based game, the decision to employ a targeting system was a wise one. Inexperienced players are given the opportunity to go through a boot camp training course before participating in the game proper. You will learn how manoeuvre through the fictional worlds you will encounter, as well being given an overview in the use of weapons. Once you are ready, your challenge to defeat the Tanned Army should be a little easier, but challenging nonetheless.

Provided you don’t get melted in the process, this latest Army Men game shouldn’t be too much of a task for the most part, although levels are considerably more challenging towards the end of the game.
