Summary

Building on the success of FIFA 99, Electronic Arts have come up with another winner in this latest incarnation of it's impressive soccer series. As well as featuring current teams from fourteen countries, you can also mix it with footballing legends of yesteryear. FIFA 2000 also gives you full management options over team selection, formation and tactics. The gameplay and graphics are superb, as is usually the case with the FIFA games, while the learning curve is not so steep as to send less dextrous players tumbling down the league. You'll be a free-scoring striker before you can say 'three lions on a shirt'.

As if to reinforce the laddish image of The Beautiful Game, lovable rogue Robbie Williams is featured on the soundtrack, along with some other contemporary top pop tunes, while commentary comes from Match Of The Day's John Motson and a somewhat strangely high-pitched Mark Lawrenson.
