British Internet Gaming League Tournament Honours Winners at the Millennium Dome

ICM, Inc and Battletop's British Internet Gaming League Tournament went off with a bang at the Millennium Dome on 9th September.

The top four players from six out of the seven competitions automatically received free plane tickets and hotel accommodation to fly to Korea to compete in the World Cyber Game Challenge next month (courtesy of Samsung Digital). The event is organised by ICM and Battletop; Asia's leading Internet rankings service and will take place in Korea's largest theme park, Everland in Yongin from October 7 to October 15, 2000.

The UK qualifying event, the British Internet Gaming League tournament (BIGL) was the biggest online gaming event ever held in the UK and was sponsored by England's top online gaming service, and Samsung Digital.

Trophies were handed out to the lucky BIGL competitors by glamour models Jordan and Jo Guest. The tournament was hosted by Aleks Krotoski, presenter of Channel 4's Bits computer games TV show.
