Sony Computer Entertainment Japan has revealed some new and somewhat practical bits and pieces for the PSP. You remember, that console that came out in Japan and the US ages ago and you sometimes see people playing on the tube?
The first and perhaps least interesting bit/piece features slightly re-worked earphones, now available in a few different colours. So now you can, you know, listen to games and movies and music in new colours or something…
The last and possibly most interesting piece/bit is the actually very useful satellite charger for the PSP’s battery, the source of much contention over the past few months. The device plugs into the wall and charges the power cell in an hour and a half, somewhat faster than the two hours and 20 minutes charge time previously offered.
And that’s about it for now. SPOnG expects these items to be made available alongside the PSP when it launches on September 1st in Europe.
