Majesco has today ushered forth details of its second Nintendo DS project (to follow the 2D RPG shoot ‘em up Nanostray) – named Moonlight Fables, which is being developed by a brand new studio: Cyber Philharmonic.
There aren’t many more details at present, but it is reassuring to see yet another new IP creeping up to lend the DS the originality it deserves. Moonlight Fables gives players controls of a rather angry sounding werewolf: with obligatory teeth and fangs, as well as laser guns and massive swords. The blend of 2D and 3D graphics sounds interesting, and the cross-species battling is sure to appeal to many: including us, thanks to the welcome incorporation of a Sasquatch type creature.
Moonlight Fables will also make full use of both screens touch-sensitivity and wireless multiplayer features. As soon as we find out how it does this, we shall let you know.
