Nah, SPOnG has aalways been lazy. It has a bizarre combination of minty fresh and three day old news.

But it's all usually interesting, and it doesn't have story after story like "[Insert company here] has announced a new [insert genre here] game, [inset title here]" like some sites.

I did ssay usually interesting though., And Vivendi president walks is about the least interesting story I ever read on here. So old and dull, c'mon SPOnG, you're getting lazy!!!

'Lax, it's pre-E3. Decent news at this time tends to be pretty thin - typically a bland selection pre-show rumour/"leaked" info or "company X announces it is to show products Y[]".

In a couple of weeks the gates will open, and we'll have several guys on the floor sifting the glut of tedious boilerplate PR guff from the juicy news. There'll be plenty of after-show "networking" and not a little alcohol-based interrogation.

PS. I realise that you were probably attempting to flex your irony muscle with an eye to wit.
