Nintendo of America has announced it has received a colossal 250,000 pre-orders for Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker. The release, which will also include Ocarina of Time and its Sequel Master Quest, meaning that tons of American gamers will be treated to the previously unreleased 64DD joy.

"What better way to celebrate the forthcoming release of The Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker than to give Zelda fans a collectors item that will provide a nostalgic or for some, a classic introduction to the series?!" he continued.

We now await Nintendo Europe's Zelda announcement with increased levels of hope and anxiety. Although a bonus disc for GameCube Zelda is confirmed, the way in which it is to be obtained, and what it will contain, are still under wraps. Stay tuned for more in the coming weeks.
