Microsoft has confirmed - via a quiet Twitter chat - that your current Xbox 360 high-end, paid for it yourself, love it, and won't use anything else, yo headset will not have to be thrown away after you buy the now beloved Xbox One.The personal Twitter account of Microsoft's senior director of product management and planning Albert Penello, rather than the more obvious official channel, was the venue of the announcement. He was asked, "Any news on an adapter for current gen hi-end gaming headsets to work on the Xbox One?", which doesn't at all sound like a gimme of a question. He replied:
"Yes. We will have an adapter that allows current gaming headsets to work," awesome. However, when asked, "will it be included with the console?" his response was a tiny little bit more depressing:
"No, it's an accessory." When pressed as to price levels for the add-on, silence fell.
